Before the item is shipped all the parts included in swap are cleaned and secured on a wooden pallet and shrink wrapped then strapped down. Certain engines such as: Any V-TEC engine SWAP i.e. (D-Series v-tec, any B-Series v-tec, H-Series v-tec, or K-Series) as well as any turbo application for Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, or Honda will come with only a 30-Day Start up Guarantee. This warranty covers ONLY: All parts that are defective only when parts are installed by an ASCE certified mechanic, under normal use and must meet following terms and conditions. Japanese Engine Import, Inc. reserves all rights to void this warranty when the indicated guidelines have not been followed. Please note that the warranty only covers the engine long block as well as the transmission internals. No attached accessories and or parts will be covered under this warranty. This warrant does not cover any leaks external on the engine such as: Oil pan, valve cover, cam, crank or distributor seals. Any coolant leaks must be dealt with by the customer as well. Make sure to replace all fluids and filters prior to engine installation. We also require you to replace all drive belts as well as Timing belt (if applicable) to assure your warranty coverage. Any additions or alterations to this engine or transmission for high-performance will void your warranty. Japanese engine Import has the option to provide the customer with EITHER a replacement part or a partial or full refund on a case-to-case basis. Customer must supply maintenance records on engine/transmission.
