It is pretty much a great bolt-in upgrade for most VW/Audi vehicles that came originally equipped with a 1.5, 1.6, or a 1.7 liter Normally Aspirated (NA) or Turbo-Diesel engine. A partial list of vehicles this will fit is: 1977 thru 1984 Rabbit Diesel/Turbo-Diesel, 1979 thru 1981 Dasher Diesel, 1982 thru 1985 Quantum Turbo-Diesel, 1981 thru 1992 Vanagon/Transporter Diesel/Turbo-Diesel, 1985 thru 1995 Golf Diesel/Turbo-Diesel, 1985 thru 1995 Jetta Diesel/Turbo-Diesel, 1992 thru 1995 Passat Turbo-Diesel, 1980 thru 1984 Audi 4000 Diesel.
