This is a perfect-running, rare, Citroen CX Turbo Diesel engine. It has 79,000 total miles on it, but had major top-end work done to it about 15,000 miles ago by a diesel mechanic in Los Angeles who converted it to a Turbodiesel from a naturally aspirated engine. This engine runs great, starts right up, and uses very little oil. It is being sold complete from valve cover to oil pan including all injection components: everything to run. Does NOT include starter, alternator, or HP hydraulic pump, but they can all be found in my other auctions. I am parting out the entire car, so check the other auctions or email me with a request and I can start a new auction for you. This engine uses the same engine block as the DS/ ID D Super cars, so you should be able to use it in that type of vehicle as well. I even fitted it briefly into a DS manual transmission and all brackets and bolt holes lined up correctly. How cool would a Turbo Diesel DS or ID wagon or sedan be? In the CX I got over 40MPG and car would cruise easily at 90MPH with the 5 speed transmission. Has about 120 HP in it’s current form.
