JPJ Studios Presents to you in this auction an extremely RARE CUSTOM Description Up for auction is a built 2jz-gte block with Arias pistons .020 over, Carillo A-beam rods, oil pan, and main caps. Each cylinder has been bored out and the engine has had 1,500 miles of use since the failure. The previous owners builder assembled it wrong and the crank walked. #6 had mild detonation and there is slight damage to the piston but it can still probably be used (A replacement Arias piston is roughly $90) There is no detonation to 1-5, just some heat marks. #6’s cylinder wall will need to be repolished because of bad scoring. The other cylinders do have some score marks but it is not deep. Polishing isn’t necessary but highly suggested. The block has been completely spec’d out by RPM engines and there is no warping or damage to the actual block, I’ll provide the new owner with the paperwork. I was originally going to reuse it and paid just under $500 getting it checked out and cleaned up all nice but decided to take a different route. I’ll include the ARP headstuds, and the stock mainstuds. I would include the crank but it was not repairable and scrapped. To have the shortblock completely assembled you’ll need a new crankshaft($800 new from Toyota or $200-300 used),piston rings, and a set of bearings. The rods are flawless and retail for $1,200 alone. A used stock GTE block without internals usually goes for about $800, brand new Arias pistons go for $600 and there is about $1,800 of machine work done to block. You are bidding on roughly $4,400 worth of parts, not including the $500 I spent having the block inspected.
